This blog post is about anatomy of the body and the BioMat.

This isn’t a topic that we have covered (at least that we can recall!) but it is important as we deepen our understanding of the bio-mat and its benefits.

First of all, the body is a miracle, isn’t it?! And the BioMat touches our bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and the nervous system, etc.

  • Bones – our bones protect our nerves. Our vertebrae is a series of stacked bones and each vertebrae is separated by discs. These discs provide shock absorption for both sitting and/or standing.
    • The core level far infrared heat of the BioMat goes into the body evenly and impacts the bones.
  • Joints – where two bones come together, a joint is formed and held together by ligaments.
    • We hear complaints from our customers about achey joints. This is especially prevalent prior to using the BioMat, but after usage, ahhh sweet relief! 🙂
  • Ligaments – help “tie” the bones together.
  • Muscles – move the bones by contracting and relaxing.
    • The bio-mat is commonly known to help release muscle contraction and promote relaxation.
  • Nervous system – at the core of our physical body is our nervous system which regulates our entire body’s functions. Every cell in our body has a nerve supply that connects and communicates with the brain. Our nerves are sensitive and delicate.
    • The BioMat helps soothe jaggled nerves!

When we experience physical strain and/or emotional stress, this can manifest into aches and pains, and we are well aware of how the BioMat can “come to our rescue!” It is the synergy of the Richway BioMat’s elements that impact our physicality, as well as our emotional, mental and spiritual health. Above, we mentioned far infrared heat; just as important is amethyst, tourmaline and negative ions.
