We have written about comparing the BioMat with PEMF mats before, but we have more to say!
In a nutshell, both the bio-mat and PEMF mats are designed to address different health challenges. In other words, they do different things. Many people think they are similar, and on-line information frequently lumps the two together in the same Google or AI search. But, we are letting you know, they are clearly two different products.
Are there any similarities? Yes! Both products are healing tools and are designed to support the body’s recovery. And now for the differences between the BioMat and PEMF mats:
- The BioMat works using far infrared heat, which is deep penetrating heat that you can actually feel. This helps facilitate the body’s circulation opening up – a positive for reducing inflammation, relieving pain and improving recovery. In addition, the generation of far infrared heat helps improve circulation by increasing oxygenation, general relaxation, recovery of muscle soreness and calms the central nervous system.
- And another super powerful, big difference of the BioMat is the additional three elements:
- Negative ions – make us feel rejuvenated and refreshed.
- Amethyst – detoxes and helps remove anything that no longer serves our body.
- Tourmaline – grounds the whole body, as well as helps us to focus and gain mental clarity.
- Regarding the PEMF mat, PEMF is an abbreviation for Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field therapy. This means it helps improve cellular function by using 10-frequency pulses to support recovery of cellular function and tissue repair. Don’t be surprised if you feel nothing during and/or after a session. (This is very different than the bio-mat which you definitely feel!) A key word – and difference – of PEMF mats are they are for targeted areas, such as bones, joints, the structural components and/or inflammation in the body’s certain areas.
In summary, there may be times when a PEMF mat is appropriate – if you don’t want to detox, don’t want heat, and/or if you have a special structural area of the body that needs support.
And the BioMat is more appropriate if you desire full-body support, including pain relief, support for your central nervous system, improved sleep and ridding inflammation.
We’re a bit biased (!) but we hope this information helps you make an informed decision.
