We love helping you learn about the BioMat’s three elements: 1) far infrared heat, 2) negative ions, and 3) amethyst crystals. Many people do not know anything about any of these elements! However, as they learn, they realize how healing these elements are and how they can contribute to one’s overall health and well-being. This is part of the reason we are so excited to share the BioMat with you, educating you about not only these three healing elements, but also how that “converts” to health benefits and the difference it can make in your life.
Let’s begin with far infrared heat. This heat, in bio-mats, works on the same principle as sunshine/sunlight warming us up at a cellular level, even to our bones. Far infrared heat is sometimes called nature’s invisible light and the human body easily absorbs this heat/light. Studies show how far infrared heat and light increases removal of waste and toxins from the blood, as well as help increase blood flow/circulation.
Negative ions are the opposite of what you might think! With all of our technology (cell phones, computers, TVs, etc.), our air/environments can be filled with positive ions. Contrary to their name, positive ions make us feel heavy and weighted down. On the other hand, negative ions (found in locations where we love to vacate – oceans, mountains, waterfalls, etc.) lift our mood and energy, even increasing our levels of serotonin (a neurotransmitter/brain chemical that makes us feel relaxed, happy and confident). Negative ions are sometimes called energizers of nature and a 2013 research study confirmed this! In this important research report, it showed how negative ions positively impact our body’s health and its physiological functions:
- Balancing the body’s pH
- Decreasing acidity
- Activating the entire cellular communication system
- Opening pathways for every bodily function to work better.
