You are the lucky recipient of the heavenly BioMat and now, maintaining your BioMat is important.

Here are several specific tips to keep your BioMat looking great and working with optimal performance for years:

• Use an upholstery brush attachment to your vacuum sweeper to clear in between the BioMat’s crystal channels. This will allow you to vacuum up any lint. You can also wipe the brown fabric with a very slightly damp cloth. Do not use lots of water or dry clean your bio-mat as this can cause damage to the electrical components.
• You do not need to clear the amethyst crystals because negative ions and far infrared heat are both constantly clearing the energy. However, if you still wish to clear them and/or change the crystal’s energy, you can do this in a couple different ways. One is to remove the cotton cover, turn the control box on its highest setting and let the BioMat “bake” for two hours on high. This is easy and convenient. Another way that is not as convenient is to set your BioMat outside at night under a full moon. (Can you see why we say it is easier to conduct the first clearing versus the second way?!)
• If you need to dust the control box, use a soft dry cloth.
• The fitted cotton cover is easily laundered by machine whenever you wish. And are you using the Quantum Energy Pad (QEP) with the professional-size bio-mat? Its zippered cover can easily be removed and machine laundered. With both the BioMat’s cotton cover and the Quantum Energy Pad zippered cover, we suggest using unscented, chemical-free laundry detergent and no dryer sheets.
