It is of course the experience of using the BioMat that brings out the love. But what is the technology that makes for this awesome experience? It is three elements (and if you aren’t very familiar with these elements, you are not alone and you are in luck because we love to educate people about them and the positive health benefits they bring to your life):
- Negative ions – contrary to what you might think, negative ions make us feel good, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. (Positive ions make us feel lethargic and sluggish. Unfortunately, our environments are filled with positive ions from cell phones, computers, cars, pollution, TVs, etc.) Setting the BioMat “on” without any heat adds negative ions to your home and environment.

Here’s a trick for optimal healing using the professional-size BioMat, especially if you have back problems: place a massage bolster or large pillow under the BioMat in the area of your knees. This takes pressure off your back and also helps to maintain maximum BioMat contact (lower back, legs, knees, calves, etc.).
