First, let’s learn about Richway International’s (the BioMat’s parent company) advanced core technology. The design of the BioMat utilizes NASA’s research and Nobel prize winning work. It really is a story of product research and testing, science and medicine merging to create this unique product – bio-mats.

The BioMat is sometimes compared to an electric heating pad. They are quite different! The heating pad feels hot to the touch; the BioMat does not. And the heating pad heats the skin’s surface; the BioMat radiates heat into the body deeply and evenly. Therefore, BioMats have a high therapeutic value vs. an electric heating pad.

In addition, heating pads emit lots of electro-magnetic frequencies (EMFs); BioMats are designed to not emit any (or very few) EMFs. How did Richway design this? Each BioMat has a NASA-developed computerized control box that blocks harmful EMFs. Further, the control boxes convert alternating currency (AC) to direct current (DC). This filtering out of AC is vital because over and over, DC has been proven to be much healthier than AC. In other words, with the heating pad, you receive unhealthy AC; with BioMats, you get direct current (DC) or healthy current.
