This blog post will compare the professional-size BioMat to “larger” BioMats. This is actually a question we get a lot and it feels important to address in a blog.
Our first question back to the potential customer is how do you plan to use the bio-mat? Are you going to take a nap on it, meditate on it, do a high-temperature thermotherapy session, use it for pain relief, sleep on it or something else? The answer(s) to these questions can help you assess which mat may be more beneficial to you to use for the long-term.
- Napping – the BioMat that probably is the most popular for napping is the professional-size BioMat. It is easy to set up on either a massage table or place it on a spare bed.
- Meditating – while it is possible to meditate on the queen- or king-size bio-mat, again, the professional-size BioMat is the most popular. The 18 pounds of amethyst in the professional-size is very conducive to have a positive meditation experience.
- High-temperature thermotherapy session – the professional-size BioMat compresses the far infrared heat into a limited space that makes it ideal for a high-temp thermotherapy session.
- Relieving pain – the professional-size BioMat is a great product to help release pain, soothe achy joints and relieve muscular soreness.
- Sleeping – while all of the other bullet points have suggested the professional-size BioMat, when it comes to sleeping on the BioMat, the queen-size BioMat or the king-size BioMat is ideal. They are designed specifically with sleeping in mind. If your spouse or partner prefers to sleep at a different temperature, that is entirely possible with the dual control.
With any BioMat, if it is too hard, you may wish to purchase a Quantum Energy Pad (QEP) in your preferred size. They are available in pro, single (for a twin bed), queen- and king-size. Placing a QEP on the BioMat helps add comfort and softness to your BioMat experience.
