This blog includes very important info comparing the Mini BioMat to the Charmed Far Infrared Mat. (The Charmed Far Infrared Mat is also referred to as the Charmed FIR Mat.)

When we first became aware of the Charmed FIR Mat, we recognized it as a direct “knock-off” of the Richway International’s Mini BioMat. (Shown below, the Mini BioMat is on the left; the Charmed is on the right.) Upon further review, we realized that the Charmed Mat is NOT a healthy product and are concerned about peoples’ health who purchase this product. While it is cheaper, it is the old adage, “You get what you pay for.” Let us explain in more detail what exactly we mean and why we are so concerned:

  • The company that makes the Charmed FIR product does not have approval or certification from the FDA.
  • The product also does not have CE Electrical Certification.
  • It does not block electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) even though it claims to have two layers that do this. In fact, it is exactly the opposite with off-the-chart EMF emissions. This YouTube video explains this really well:

Mini BioMat & Charmed

  • The manufacturing plants where Charmed, Ereada and other mats come from in China and Korea (Hyundai) have been closed down. Technically, they aren’t even supposed to be selling in the U.S.
  • The Charmed’s heating sensor is inferior and only lasts a year; the outer covering is inferior fabric.

So, from this blog, you, as the consumer, gain important information and are empowered to make correct choices for your overall health and well-being. As you are trying to improve your health, you do NOT want to take a step backward using a product such as the Charmed FIR Mat.
