Did you know Richway’s European branch is open?! Since June 2023, bio-mat products will be shipped free of charge in Europe (just like in the United States).
Please note: European Union countries do charge a Value-Added Tax (VAT). The VAT in Europe is similar to sales tax in the U.S.; VAT is paid on any transaction occurring in European countries. The current VAT rate is 21%.
Further, BioMat products are also assessed a customs duty of 7%.
Both VAT and custom duties are charged to the European customer regardless whether the product is shipped from the U.S. or within Europe. (The only time the VAT is exempt is if the buyer is a company that holds a VAT license and the product is purchased for re-sale.)
