This blog post is a continuation from last week to give you more FDA guidelines. After Richway International contacted us several years ago, we have prided ourselves to remain FDA compliant. The list from Richway that is “OK” to state about the BioMat:
- Focus on the BioMat technology of far infrared heat, amethyst, tourmaline and negative ions.
- Refer to the FDA-approved benefit list and guidelines for usage.
- Refer to the guidelines for usage in the Use and Care manual provided with each purchased bio-mat.
- You may refer to symptoms of natural states that would not cause harm, even if left untreated. For example: aging, occasional emotional states and natural body functions are all natural states. Symptoms of natural states may include sleeplessness and/or mild memory loss associated with aging, mild stomach cramps associated with menstruation, etc. (Avoid disease claims stemming from natural states, such as sleeplessness from insomnia or indigestion from irritable bowel syndrome or muscle pain from heart disease.)
- Use the FDA disclaimer in all marketing materials and promotional efforts. The FDA specifies language, font-size, type of disclaimer, etc.
- Use testimonials or endorsements that are true and reflect the typical results that an average BioMat user would have rather than unusual clients or “outliers.”
We, at BioMatInc.com sincerely value staying in FDA compliance and maintaining our outstanding status with both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Richway International (the BioMat’s parent company).
