This blog post is focused on beginning usage for the BioMat. We love working with new customers … it is a very exciting time! Your brand new BioMat has arrived on your doorstep … now what?! Here’s step-by-step instructions for the professional-size bio-mat (and these instructions are easily adaptable for Mini BioMats):
- Take the Richway BioMat out of the shipping box.
- Take the BioMat out of the beautiful, hard-sided purple suitcase.
- Place the BioMat on a bed, massage table or even the floor (flat surface).
- The “window” of amethyst should be up with the pattern of gold paisley facing down.
- Place the provided cotton quilted cover onto the BioMat and secure the corners with the elastic straps. If you also purchased a Quantum Energy Pad (QEP), place it next to the BioMat (under the cotton cover). (If you prefer even more extra padding to soften, you can add towels on top of the cotton cover.)
- Now, you are ready to connect the temperature control unit into the BioMat. Do this by inserting the tan pronged-chord of the control unit into the BioMat. (This might be a snug fit. So that it functions properly, make sure it is 100% inserted into the mat.)
- Next, plug the black electrical chord into a wall outlet.
- Turn on the rocker switch on the temperature control unit. A green light will activate.
- Press on the “power” button. To warm the mat to your desired temperature, press the “up” button. Note: it takes 15-20 minutes to fully heat up (and longer if it has set outside in a cold climate).
- Before laying down, you may wish to adjust the heat.
