This blog post is about using the BioMat during times of civil unrest. My goodness, what a time! The George Floyd murder sparked a storm of civil unrest around the world. As the video of the officer’s knee to the neck went viral, the response (peaceful protest) was predictable. Years of police brutality on the Minneapolis force was well known and documented; the Minneapolis community began almost immediately marching in the streets to make an important point – enough already and significant changes are needed. The second response of violence – looting and arson – was shocking, completely disturbing and scary.

Through all of this, we used the BioMat and encouraged others to do the same. At our most desperate moments through the civil unrest, the BioMat was a complete godsend! So, how exactly does it work?
