- If you are going to use your BioMat for frequent high-heat sessions and if you anticipate sweating profusely, we suggest you purchase a waterproof cover to protect your BioMat.
- If you currently have health challenges, we suggest using your bio-mat in the beginning on a low setting to prevent “flare ups” as much as possible.
- You may wish to nap or rest on the BioMat during and throughout the day. This assists with calming and repairing the nervous system.
- Sleeping on a professional-size BioMat and using a Mini at work in a chair or in an easy chair/couch at home may assist your healing journey.
- If you experience any worsened condition(s) when using the BioMat, you may want to discontinue use. Please also note there are some symptoms that might occur that are attributed to detoxing and the healing process. For example: if you feel queezy, nauseous, light headed, dizzy, etc., this is likely a sign that you are releasing toxins and residues from your body. This is a good thing, although it may feel a bit uncomfortable in the short term. We suggest you back off usage, meaning you use the bio-mat at a lower temperature and for a shorter amount of time. As you continue to slowly detox, you will feel better and better; you can then also build time and increase the temp.
