After we finished the last blog post, we realized we needed to share more, so this is BioMat contraindications – part II.
First of all, bio-mats have been tested numerous times over the years in the United States and all over the world. Richway International (the BioMat’s parent company) has done as much as possible, making the BioMat as safe for as many people as possible. That said, there are still a few more contraindications that need to be discussed:
- We frequently get questions about metal part replacements inserted into the body, such as knees, hips, spine, etc. It is OK to use the BioMat with all of these metal insertions.
- If you have any kind of external body patch (nicotine, estrogen, etc.), the BioMat will increase the intake of the patch dosage. Therefore, remove the patch while on the BioMat.
- Children should use the BioMat on the lowest two temps.
- If you have pain and it worsens using the BioMat, you may wish to discontinue usage. However, be aware that some temporary symptoms can occur which may be attributed to detoxing. This detoxification process may “show itself” as headaches, cramps, tummy aches, diarrhea, vomiting and/or nausea. If this is happening to you, turn down the BioMat’s heat, use it for a short time and drink lots of water (to flush your system). The detoxing process is helping you heal and bringing your body back into biological balance. In other words, you may go through some short-term pain for long-term gain!

Before using the BioMat, you may wish to consult with your doctor or other health care providers. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
