All the busy-ness of the holidays causes stress and we suggest surviving the holidays using the BioMat! Yes … really!! Here we are offering several tips to survive the holidays and learning more about how bio-mats can help.
The BioMat is an awesome healing tool, especially after accomplishing your long list of tasks from each day during the month of December. We hear from many of our customers how deeply the BioMat nourishes and rejuvenates them. Besides BioMating each day to relax, we suggest the following tips:
- Pay attention to your breath several times a day (either on or off the BioMat).
- Pause several times each day to notice how you are feeling. Jot down your feelings in a journal to express your emotions which helps release them.
- Listen to beautiful music that is calming; this helps bring you inner peace.
- Play any favorite holiday downloads or CDs at 25% less than your normal volume.
- Set expectations that are realistic. Sometimes corporate parties and gatherings of family/friends bring more stress, so be mindful about ways to give yourself self-care that you like!
- If at all possible, prioritize and select only the most important events in December and be sure to include a couple activities on the calendar that are joyful and nurturing to you.
