Many of you have asked for more information about the BioMats 17 construction layers.
So, we included a whole section in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) tab on this website. There is an excellent diagram detailing each of the 17 layers. From our relationship with the company owners of Richway International (the BioMat’s parent company), we know they only source the best materials to include in the BioMat. Further, after many years of research and continual improvements, bio-mats are engineered and built to last with many layers (17 to be exact!) of high-quality materials. Layers include water proofing to cotton padding to amethyst to silk cotton to thermal insulation layer, etc.

- There are several layers of protection – from protection against water (and sweat) to EMF, EMC and EMI to fiber-glass, copper and carbon protection layers.
- The all-important layers of energy amplification. According to Richway International, these layers are the most important. These layers allow high-quality infrared rays to filter into the BioMat, which ultimately contributes to its healing properties.
